GuideExperience Abstraction Controls
The game uses standard Roblox controls with no custom abilities — which makes camera discipline the only real skill expression. Here’s the setup that helps.
PC controls
| Input | Action |
|---|---|
| W A S D | Move |
| Space | Jump |
| Shift (with shift lock) | Lock camera behind character |
| Mouse / right-drag | Rotate camera |
| Scroll | Zoom (out to third person, in to first person) |
| Esc → Leave | Rejoin to reset abstraction (details) |
Recommended settings
- Play zoomed out in third person while surviving — the wider view catches abstracted players entering your room earlier.
- Enable shift lock for chases: strafing while watching your pursuer beats camera-spinning panic.
- Brightness: raising your monitor/graphics brightness helps you see dark areas but does not change the darkness condition — the server decides you’re in the dark, not your screen.
Console & controller
Standard Roblox gamepad bindings apply: left stick moves, right stick controls camera, A jumps. The game has no custom keybinds to relearn on any platform.
